Hello,
I haven't posted in a while- sigh- life : ) Anyway, I want to talk about my must -haves in my kitchen/work area to craft up a storm. Hopefully I will try to post a few great products every day.

1. Goo-Gone. This stuff is amazing. I *ahem* collect a lot of wine bottles, and sometimes those stubborn labels just need more than a good scrubbing. I also used it on old windows where old sticky masking tape has been dried on from the sun, this product took it off in one wipe! Goo-Gone has gotten rid of all of my sticky, gooey, and annoying problems. The best thing is my neighborhood's Dollar Store just stocked them on their shelves, cheap and useful, awesome!

2. Leveler. This thing is always near by. Not only can you use it for picture frames, but it can also level wallpaper, DIY tabletops, stencils, painting, and more! I even have a thin one that I stick in my hair while working on a project so that it is always in reach!

3. Glue-Gun. This guy is always ready to go at my house. Not only does it dry clear and glues things together fast with ease and with little mess, but I have found multiple uses for this great invention. Fore example, I place a dab of glue on the corners stubborn picture frames on the back so they do not move when a door slams or kids run around. I have also used it under rugs to create a non-slip grip and create clean lines to peel off later on smooth surfaces.

So those are just three I thought of, I will keep you posted. Enjoy!

Past Projects

As a poor college student my creative juices flowed- not for entertainment, but so that I did not have to live on cat food to survive. One main thing that I kept trying to find a solution for was for space. We all need space, for a multiple of reasons, for me it was a way to collect things I didnt have time for today, but wanted to use in the future (i.e. crafts), as well as have space on my couch for my cat, my laptop, my husband and me (in that order). If you are in a similar predicament I suggest before going to the hardware store and buying more shelves than you have drywall (which is VERY tempting) look around your room (s) and make a list of priorities (starting from what needs to change today, to in a few years down the road)
For example: if you want a cabinet for your cleaning supplies:
1. Analyze what and how you use these supplies; deodorizers for the living room, Windex for the whole house etc. Once you know where these products are going to be used, you can avoid placing them in a space where it is difficult to get to when you will need them.
2. See what you have already in your home to use as storage. I tend to hoard boxes (you know those sturdy ones that bananas come in, or milk crates back in the day) These can come in handy when you are on a budget, or just need something temporary.
3. PURGE! Useless things are like a disease, if you don't get rid of it on time, it will just get worse.
4. Get creative, go online, watch a design show. These tarts on t.v. nowadays sometimes have some great ideas! haha. Go outside! It is amazing what people will throw out today. Drive by the Jones on trash day during the spring, its a goldmine- I guarantee it!
5.  Make it pretty. I don't mean Martha Stewart pretty, just enough to satisfy your needs. A simple dresser drawer can be made fab by just a paint of color, and maybe a few cut outs from a old wallpaper design.

So there you go. 5 tips on how to really tackle a space problem, or really any problem for that matter. It is amazing what your mind can think of to survive.

I will soon have some projects of my own that I have made on here so that your creative juices can start flowing! Best of luck in your journey!
